Tudor Driver Education Centre
Specialising in Driving Instructor Training

After spending almost 25 years in the food trade, I decided it was time for a career change. What could I do I asked myself? I always fancied being a Driving Instructor but knew nothing about how to get qualified. So, I contacted three driving schools, and after meeting with all three, the decision was easy - it was Tudor Driving School for me! Their advert said they were experts in driver training and that's just what they proved to be.
From day one "On how to become a Driving Instructor" was explained in a very easy and understanding way. All the necessary books etc, were on hand to prepare for all three parts of the exam. No sooner had I started studying for the Theory and Hazard Perception Test, I was on the road with my friendly trainer who was rightly putting all those bad driving habits I had picked up over the years to rest. The Theory test was passed and within weeks my driving was at a standard to be able to pass part 2 of the exam.
The ink on my driving test form had barely dried before I was swapping seats with my trainer with my ability to instruct being put to the test. I had attended the Friday afternoon classes for a number of weeks which were very helpful in understanding all about learning Part 3. The classes were held in a very relaxed atmosphere and without any pressure on yourself. With the class on a Friday plus the in car training, the learning process was happening very quickly. It was also very enjoyable!
After a certain number of hours learning how to instruct, I was granted a 'Trainee Licence', which allowed me to out teaching pupils to gain more experience in preparation for that all important Part 3 test. The big day finally arrived and even though the nerves were shaking a bit with all the excellent training I had received from "Tudor Driving School", I was very confident of passing the final exam and gaining that qualification and the green badge.
Now I am a fully qualified Driving Instructor I would like to pass on all the knowledge and experience I gained from "Tudor Driving School" to you. So, if you're looking for a friendly, patient, reliable Driving Instructor in and around the Louth, Horncastle and Grimsby areas, then give David "Jack" Westerby a call on 01507 600758 or 07947 165702.
If you're considering a career as a Driving Instructor I would certainly recommend you give "Tudor Driving School" a call - I know I'm pleased I did.
