Tudor Driver Education Centre
Specialising in Driving Instructor Training
When my restaurant business was sold in 1999, I decided to have a second attempt at qualifying as an ADI Driving Instructor after failing on my first attempt eleven years previously. I made enquiries and did a lot of research as to where I could start training. Tudor Driver Training came up several times amongst others. The quick response and superb package I received from Tudor made me decide to make a personal approach to Rob at his office in Lincoln. Things of course had changed a lot in eleven years and I want the best training. The interview was very informal and Rob was very professional and explained exactly what was required. The cost was very reasonable and the trainers were highly qualified and it fitted in to my schedule as to when the training could take place.
I have never looked back from that day. Part one, the theory test I passed first time and then I attended Friday afternoon training sessions in the classroom for Part two and three exams. In car training during the week for Part two was most enjoyable and I passed the Part two exam first time a few months later. Training then continued to prepare me for the most difficult part of becoming a driving instructor, the Part three exam. The knowledge and expertise comes from years of experience in the driving industry which Tudor have in plenty, their instructors are well qualified, very patient and understanding. During my Part three training I had the opportunity to obtain a trainee licence and worked for Tudor in Boston which also gave me more confidence and practical skills and knowledge as well as experience in dealing with the real world out there. Combining practical training in Lincoln and teaching on a pink licence gave me the confidence to attempt the Part three exam, which I passed with flying colours.
Since passing with Tudor I have taken the opportunity to further myself by taking exams and various other courses. I am a Daimond Advanced Motorist, an Ordit Registered Fleet Trainer and have studied at Cranfield University on the physiology of learners and the way they think. I am also an approved driver trainer for Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership as one of their ADI's.
A big thank you to Rob, Betty and the team in Lincoln at Tudor Driver Training!
