Hi, my name is Chris Oak.
I decided to become a driving instructor after 8 years working in retail. I fancied a change in direction to a career where I could be my own boss. My friends and family had always suggested it due to my relaxed and patient manner. I liked the idea of teaching people to drive and enjoy driving as much as I do.
After contacting numerous companies and not being too keen, I contacted Rob Clarke at Tudor. This is the company I learnt to drive with aged 17 and really enjoyed my time learning. I met Rob who clearly knew his stuff and decided Tudor was for me. I have not looked back since.
I passed my part 1 on my second attempt after a small mishap on the first. Then Rob took me out for my part 2 training, which I passed first time. After that, it was onto my part 3 training. My personal trainer for this was David Coates, who was fantastic. I passed my part 3 on my first attempt in May 2009.
I am extremely proud of all I have achieved to qualify and owe so much of it to Rob and David. I enjoyed all my time training with Tudor and would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone thinking of becoming a driving instructor.
I now work for Tudor driving a Ford Fiesta. I offer friendly, patient and professional instruction around Lincoln. If you want to learn to drive or would like a refresher lesson, give me a call
