After numerous unrewarding jobs, I decided to take control of my career and future, and set out for something more rewarding and professional. I’ve always enjoyed driving and had thought about becoming a driving instructor for some time, as I looked into it, the brochures and sales pitches were a little confusing to say the least, and none of the ones I considered were very local. Local was important to me.
I’d seen Tudor cars around and heard of the driving school, so I simply got in touch. I called Tudor, arranged a time, and went for a chat with Rob Clarke. Right from the start, Rob’s obvious knowledge and experience showed through, his attitude to all things driving and his calming professional nature made my mind up, I decided to go for it!
Rob assigned me a personal instructor to take me on the road for in car lessons, with good clear meaning to what we were doing. And I went along to the Friday afternoon classes Rob gives, these are on his premises, and although it’s a classroom it’s all very relaxed, and the theory part of these classes really makes sense when you’re on the road.
Well, I passed the 1st part, worked towards the second part, and passed that, onto part 3! For the part 3 Rob gave me lessons himself where we assume the role of both instructor and Pupil, towards the part 3 test I had further lessons with another very experienced professional called Jane, Jane’s knowledge of driving and instruction were a real boost, while on the road she put me through a mock test and even marked it as a test, fantastic for giving me the feedback I needed.
I’m now a qualified ADI and proud of it. If you want to do the same then I have no hesitation in recommending Tudor. In my opinion, Rob, Jane and the whole team at Tudor really are the best. I offer good quality professional instruction, I’m friendly and of course very patient. My car is a silver Nissan Micra. It’s easy to drive, well looked after and has dual controls fitted. The rates from Tudor are very good too, with block booking discounts, and introductory discounts.
